| Date posted: 2009-05-23 01:56:09 Teenage stage is the most dangerous stage of anyone’s life. If you are a parent, this is the stage where you have to worry about the safety of your teenage kid. This is the stage where they’ll be more aggressive, curious and the time when they have to hang out with friends and meet more strange people. Being a parent, our concern is always for our kid’s safety and protection. Knowing that they are going out with the right person will give us peace of mind. We just can’t watch and monitor our kids 24/7 because we have our jobs too. We knew that teenagers always want their freedom and privacy. For us parents, we should be aware who are kids are going out with when we’re not around. Crimes happened here and there. We all have seen the front page at newspapers everyday. Crimes happened the least we expect it and for our kids to be safe and our mind to be at ease, we have to run a background check. To protect our kids not to be another victim of these predators, running a background check on his friends and special someone will give us relevant information about someone’s family background. We will be able to obtain information about his family members and records of criminal and civil arrest, if any. By doing these, we are one way ahead of these predators. It is not fair to invade one’s privacy but if our children’s safety is at stake, we’ll do everything to protect them. |
